HP Cluster Platform Core Components Overview

• TFT7600 rack-mount keyboard and monitor (see Section 2.7.1)
• TFT5600 rack-mount keyboard and monitor (see Section 2.7.2)
• Four-port console switch for Cluster Platform. (see Section 2.7.3)
• Console switch for Cluster Platform and Scalable Visualization Array (SVA). (See
Section 2.7.4).

• Server blade access through the local KVM (see Section 2.7.6).
2.7.1 HP TFT7600
This section describes the TFT7600 rack-mount keyboard and monitor, which is mounted in the
utility rack (UXR). The TFT7600 is mounted on rails with space available to add a 1U console
switch box behind the unit. The TFT7600 uses a 17 inch (43.18 cm) color active matrix TFT LCD
(see Figure 2-17). The TFT7600 is connected to the administration node and to one other service
node. You must make this connection during system installation, as described in Section 3.2.
Note:
The TFT7600 is installed in recent models of Scalable File Share (SFS) systems and HP Cluster
Platform.

The TFT7600 rear ports are shown in Figure 2-18. Arrangement of the cables in the cable tray
(see callout 7 in Figure 2-18) must be completed as shown in the TFT7600 Installation Instructions.
