5. Press and hold the rail locks (see callout 1 in Figure 3-19), and extend the server until it clears
the rack (see callout 2 in Figure 3-6).

6. Remove the server from the rack and position it securely on a workbench or other solid
surface for stability and safety.
To replace the access panel and return the server to the rack, reverse the previous steps.
3.2.2 Removing the DL145 G3 Access Panel
To remove the access panel on the HP ProLiant DL145 G3, as shown in Figure 3-20, follow these
