4.9 HP ProLiant BL460c and BL460c G5 Server Blade Overview
The HP BladeSystem c–Class enclosure supports up to 16 HP ProLiant BL460c server blades.
The HP ProLiant BL460c provides dual-processor, dual-core Intel Xeon processors, DDR2 fully
buffered DIMMs, serial attached SAS or SATA hard drives, support of multifunction NICs, and
multiple I/O cards. The HP ProLiant BL460c includes high-availability features such as
hot-pluggable hard drives, mirrored-memory, online spare memory, memory interleaving,
embedded RAID capability, and enhanced remote Lights-Out management. Table 4-5 lists the
features of the HP ProLiant BL460c server blade.
