5. Grasp the edges of the PCI card being installed and gently press the connector into the PCI
I/O riser connector, as shown in Figure 1-6.

6. Insert the card mounting screw and secure it with a T-15 driver.
7. Replace the PCI I/O riser assembly by positioning the connector over the mating connector
on the system board and then turning the jackscrew to complete the connector mating.
8. Connect any cables that are required by the PCI card.
9. Replace the server cover.

1.2 HP Integrity rx2600
The dual-processor 2U HP Integrity rx2600 can be used as an application node, control node, or
utility node. HP Integrity rx2600 nodes have 1.3 GHz or 1.5 GHz dual Intel Itanium 2 processors
and 6 MB of on-chip L3 cache. All nodes are fitted with a management processor (the outlined
area in Figure 1-8) that provides access to system console, reset, power management, firmware
upgrade, and system status via 10/100 LAN connections. The Management Processor (MP) is
powered from the node's standby power source and is independent of the power on/off state of
the node.
