10GigEthr-03 (iocxgbe) B.11.31.1109 Ethernet Driver Release Notes, Edition 3

◦ Changes and clarifications are made to the iocxgbe man page.
◦ New help information is added for ifadmin change requests.
• The driver statistics are enhanced.
The driver statistics are enhanced, as follows:
◦ The nwmgr drv_stats and lanadmin drv_stats commands provide per-port
statistics, as in previous versions.
Here are example commands to display per-port statistics:
– nwmgr -g -q drv_stats -c lanPPA
– lanadmin -x drv_stats PPA
NOTE: The lanadmin command is deprecated in HP-UX 11i v3.
◦ The nwmgr mib and nwmgr extmib commands now provide per-device (PCIe function)
statistics instead of per-port statistics.
Here are example commands to display MIB statistics:
– nwmgr -g --st mib -c lanPPA
– nwmgr -g --st extmib -c lanPPA
◦ Problems clearing counters are resolved.
• Software LRO (Large Receive Offload) is now enabled by default.
DRV_PR, Driver Packet Reassembly, which is also known as Software LRO, is now enabled
by default. Prior to this release, this feature was disabled by default. You can enable or disable
it using the lanadmin or nwmgr commands.

4 Known problems and limitations
The following problems are known to exist in version B.11.31.1109:
• ServiceGuard support is not enabled for NC552m in version B.11.31.1109.
ServiceGuard support is not enabled for the NC552m adapter in this initial release.
ServiceGuard will be enabled in a future release of the iocxgbe driver.
