Cause
Indicates that a field replaceable unit (FRU) is shutting down due to overheating. This is typically due to
a faulty fan but can also be caused by the switch environment.
Recommended
Action
Verify that the location temperature is within the operational range of the switch. Refer to the hardware
reference manual for the environmental temperature range of your switch.
Run the fanShow command to verify that all fans are running at normal speeds. If any fans are missing
or are not performing at high enough speed, they should be replaced.
