Cause
Indicates that one or more switches joined the fabric with a different insistent domain ID (IDID) mode
setting than the current effective IDID mode for the fabric. This message also occurs when the IDID for
the fabric has been turned on or off. The possible values for state are "On" or "Off".
Recommended
Action
IDID mode is a fabric-wide mode; make sure that any switches added to the fabric are configured with
the same IDID mode as the fabric. If you are enabling or disabling IDID mode, this message is for
information purposes only, and no action is required.
IDID mode can be set using the configure command in the CLI or checking the Advanced Web Tools
Switch Admin > Configure Tab > Fabric Subtab > Insistent Domain ID Mode checkbox. The
switch must be disabled to change the IDID mode.
