Fabric summary report

Fabric Manager creates a summary report containing information about the fabric.

The report displays fabric details, switch details, health status, Admin Domain information, device

port information, ISL trunking summary information and a license summary.

The fabric summary report is available only for switches running the following firmware versions:

• Fabric OS v2.6.2 or later

• Fabric OS v3.2.x or later

• Fabric OS v4.4.x or later

• Fabric OS v5.0.0 or later

Virtual devices do not appear in the device port information area of the report.

The ISL trunking summary is shown only for switches running Fabric OS version 3.0.2 and later and

is not supported for XPath switches. On Brocade Model 7420 switches running XPATH 7.1.2, Fabric

Manager displays “N/A” as the long distance value in the Ports table and Port AAG.

The access gateway information for the Fabric Summary report appears in the switch details

section of the report. Only the non-access-gateway-moded switches are shown in the list.

Displaying the fabric summary report

1. Select a fabric and click Reports > Fabric Summary Reports from the Reports menu bar.

The Fabric Summary report displays, as shown in Figure 214.

2. Using the navigation buttons across the top of the report window, click the right arrow (>) to

view the next page.

3. Optionally, save the report as HTML or as a PDF file by making the selection and clicking Export

To, as shown in Figure 215. You are prompted for a file name and location.
