Work with the configuration repository
You can view and edit all of the saved and backed up configurations for schedules that have been
created in Fabric Manager or imported using the Import feature.
For each configuration, you can see the fabric name, switch name, switch IP address, switch WWN
and backed up time.
Marking a backup configuration as a golden copy lets you bypass the configured aging limits for
that copy.
Viewing a configuration
1. Choose a configuration in the browser by selecting the row for the switch configuration.
NOTE
Only one configuration can be viewed at a time.
2. Click View.
The browser shows the configuration details. You can copy the content to clipboard using the
Copy feature.
3. Click OK to close the dialog box.
Deleting a configuration
1. Choose a configuration in the browser by selecting one or more rows for the switch
configurations.
To select multiple, non-contiguous rows, hold the CTRL key while selecting.
2. Click Delete.
3. Confirm that you want to delete the configuration.
Exporting a configuration
1. Choose a configuration in the browser by selecting the row for the switch configuration.
NOTE
Only one configuration can be exported at a time.
2. Click Export.
3. Use the file chooser to select the location into which you want to export the configuration.
4. Type a name for the exported configuration and click OK.
Fabric Manager saves the configuration as a plain text file.
