Physical inventory report
For switches running Fabric OS v5.1.0 and later, the physical inventory report lets you see
information about the chassis, blades, power supplies, fans and WWN cards of each switch in the
physical fabric.
Switches with earlier Fabric OS versions will only show minimal information in the report, and
switches running the XPath OS are not supported.
Any virtual or phantom switches in the fabric will not be included in the physical inventory
report.
Access gateway mode switches only appear in the fabric switch details section.
For a physical inventory report, the first time the data is collected is when Fabric Manager discovers
the fabric. The information is refreshed every 24 hours after that.
Deleting a fabric from Fabric Manager deletes the data from the Fabric Manager database. It will
not appear in the physical inventory report after being deleted.
Displaying the physical inventory report
1. Select a fabric and click Reports > Physical Inventory Report from the Reports menu bar.
Fabric Manager displays the Physical Inventory report, as shown in Figure 212.
