If you select MetaSAN View, backbone fabrics, edge fabrics, and FCR switches are displayed.
When you select a backbone fabric, the LSANs for the fabric are displayed. When you select an
LSAN, the associated devices are shown.
In Figure 20, the Fabric View is selected in the Scope panel, and the View panel displays the
switches that are in the selected fabric.

The Display By list provides four different identifiers you can use to view SAN elements (name, IP
address, domain ID, or WWN). Select the identifier that you want Fabric Manager to use as it
displays each element.
The contents of the Scope panel changes depending on what view is selected (see the different
Scope panels in Figure 18 and Figure 20). The View and Display By options are always available.
When Fabric View or Host-Storage View is selected, the Scope panel displays additional options,
which are described in detail in “Fabric Topologies” on page 81.
Also available from the Scope panel are the scoping tabs. Depending on which tab is selected, a list
of selectable items appears. Use the menus to make a selection, and the selected item becomes
highlighted and selected in the View panel.

The View panel displays the topology of the selection in the Scope panel.
The view that is selected in the Scope panel determines
the topology that is displayed in the View panel.
