First recommendations: • Refer to Media type functionality & features and choose the most appropriate media. • It is essential you have the media type correctly calibrated with the printer and print mode, consult the Calibrate my printer section. • In order to get a correct display, it’s also essential you have the monitor calibrated, refer to the Calibrate my monitor section. 2. Open Macromedia FreeHand MX. 3.

• Click OK. o Select OK. 4. For non-PostScript printers, FreeHand queries the system, asking it to provide a “drawing area” in memory. Then we need to configure the preview settings in order to get a good resolution output. Edit Menu > Preferences > Redraw tab: • Select Smart image preview resolution if it is not already selected. Set this option to Full Resolution to display imported TIFF files at the highest resolution available. • Select OK. 5.

8. Driver Settings; Select Properties button: • Paper/Quality tab: o Paper Type: Select the media type that is loaded in the printer, it should be the same selected as in the Composite printer option. o Print Quality: Select Standard Options and drag the slider to Quality.
