To install the b ackplane batter y:
1. Pull the battery retaining clip away.

Reattach the rear top cover (see "Rear top cover" on page 45).
System memory
CAUTION:

See Figure 26 for the location of the four 240–pin dual inline memory module (DIM M) sockets.
The sockets support up to 8 GB dual channel DDR2 533/667 MHz unbuffered low-profile (1.2-inch)
synchronous dynamic random access mem o ry (SDRAM) with error-correcting code (ECC) support.
However, the operating system only supports a maximum of 4 GB of m emory.
