Certificate of Authenticity
The Certificate of Authenticity (COA) label is used to:
• Upgrade th
e factor y -installed operating system using the Microsoft Upgrade program for license
validation.
• Reinstall the operating system because of a failure that has permanently disabled it.
The COA lab
el location varies by server m odel. O n rack-mounted server models, the COA label is
located either on the front section of the right panel or on the right front corner of the top panel. On
tower models, the COA lab el is lo cated toward the rear of the top panel of the server.
