3. Reboot the node to ensure that the SizingActions parameters are cleared
from the system. The SizingActions script will now be inactive at system
start.
Restore the Samba configuration
Use the following procedure to restore the Samba configuration used in the 3.5.1
release.
1. Mount the filesystem that will be used for Samba shares.
2. Install Samba on all servers in the cluster:
rpm -ivh samba-client-33.0.3035x86_64.rpm
rpm ivh samba33.0.3035x86_64.rpm
NOTE:
Depending on the packages installed with the operating system, certain
package dependencies and conflicts may be reported. Be sure to resolve
any issues.
3. Using the Samba user files that you backed up before the upgrade, migrate
Samba users to the 3.7.0 environment. See your Samba documentation for more
information.
4. Install the HP Scalable NAS Samba support RPM.
# rpm -i <mountpoint>/mxfs-cifs-3.7.0-<xxxx>.<arch>.rpm
5. Untar the hpsamba.tar file in the /etc/samba directory on the node that will
be primary for the Samba virtual host.
tar -xvf hpsamba.tar
