• Role-Based Security Control. You can create roles, define the operations that are
allowed or denied for each role, and add specific user or group accounts to the
roles.
• Event management system. The event notifier services can be configured to send
an SNMP trap, to send email, or to run a script when specific events occur. The
new event viewer shows the HP Scalable NAS event messages currently in the
event log. You can filter the output to limit the messages that appear, and you
can display details about specific messages.
• New HP Scalable NAS SNMP service. This service provides MIBs for retrieval of
all cluster-wide state and status information.
