For how many years can I receive free phone support on my Server Appliance? You can receive free phone support for the warranty period of your HP Server Appliance product. HP supports all Server Appliances for a full three years after the product’s obsolescence date.
What should I expect when I call for service? Service calls follow this process: 1. The call agent will ask questions and may ask you to run HP-supplied configuration and diagnostic programs, and will attempt to resolve the problem over the phone. 2. If the problem cannot be resolved over the phone, HP will dispatch a replacement unit to your site. Can I accidentally void my Server Appliance warranty? You can accidentally void your Server Appliance warranty.
What is the warranty on software installed on my Server Appliance? HP warrants its software or HP factory-provided third-party software for a period of 1 year. During that period, HP will provide customers with remote assistance (by phone and/or by email) for installation and configuration and/or replace defective software via the exchange process. HP does not warrant customer-installed thirdparty software.
Is my warranty still valid if I ship my HP Server Appliance into or out of the country? Your HP Server Appliance will receive the standard warranty in the country of purchase. If you move your Server Appliance to another country where HP has established legal subsidiaries or International Distributors, you will receive the destination country standard warranty.
