Obtaining Keys and Certificates
NOTE: The SA8250
comes with default keys
and certificates for test
purposes. However,
certificates for
production use must be
obtained from a
recognized Certificate
Authority.
Keys and certificates are necessary for the successful operation of the
SA8250 for XML traffic processing. The SA8250 supports
certificates in PEM format. There are three ways to obtain them:
• Obtain a certificate from Verisign or another Certificate
Authority (CA)
• Import from a server
• Create a new key or certificate on the SA8250
