The email option is a lso available when you use WEBES with ISEE.
WEBES is a service tool that provides real-time diagnosis of hardware events ranging from single errors
(or faults) to multiple event correlation and complex analysis. It is designed to send notification only
when events require a ser vice action.
A Service Tools CD, containing WEBES and ISEE, is included with HP Command View EVA. HP
recommends that you also check the HP web site for updates. You can download the latest WEBES
kit from this location:

EVA remote support tools
As a no-char
ge option, HP will install ISEE remote service tool for any Enterprise Virtual Array under
warr anty or
service support. This tool enables EVA self-monitoring and diagnosis. ISEE can significantly
reduce the
time required to isolate and correct p roblems. If desired, the tool can be con figured to
transmit s
tatus information directly to an HP service center for proactive problem resolution. Contact
your local HP Services department for details.

The following issues have been resolved in v3.028.
General issues
• Resolved an issue where a large host data transfer a nd simultaneous SCSI reservation change
caused a low memory access controller restart.
• Correctly manage a drive that could not be codeloaded because drive firmware is not available.
• Corrected an EVA Perf issue to ensu re that performance data is reported for the proper virtual disk.
• Provide improved logg ing by implementing new termination and controller event codes.
• Improved virtual disk expansion process.
• Adjusted time out values for data I/O and send/receive diagnostic commands to eliminate
failure of good disk drives.
