Figure 13 shows the CPU utilization of the two EVA 4000 controllers during the firmware event. T he
CPU utilization prior to the firmware upgrade is very low (this config uration did not include any HP
Business Copy EVA or HP Continuous Access EVA a ctivity) . O nce the firmware upgrade is started, the
CPU utilization spikes to near 10 0 %. Again, once the fi rmware upgrade is complete, the CPU levels
return to normal.
