This release supports the Fibre Channel (FC) switches and rmware versions listed in the HP StorageWorks
S AN design reference guide, which you can download from the HP StorageWorks website:

NOTE:
HP recommend s that you not mix switch rmware versions in your storage area network (SAN). It is a
best practice to uniformly upgrade a ll switches in the SAN.
Multiple-path support
In a multipath environment, a Linux system with EVA storage requires the installation of HP StorageWorks
multipathing software on each host system to achieve high-availability, multipath capability.
