3. Restart the server.
4. Install the software on the CD-ROM included with this (HSV) kit (see
“Installing the Host Kit” on page 21).
Note: Do not restart the server at this point.
5. Install the Secure Path kit.
You should see the following message displayed on the console during the
Secure Path installation:
found array controller device at tgt# lun#
This is the cpqccl driver binding to the Command Console LUNs (CCLs) of
the Enterprise Virtual Array or EVA3000.
There should also be rccl devices in /dev.
6. Run the Secure Path configuration application spconfig to complete the
Secure Path installation. See your Secure Path documentation for specific
instructions.
Upgrading a V2.0 or V3.0 Server to V3.0B
Follow this procedure to upgrade an existing V2.0 or V3.0 host server to V3.0B.
1. Upgrade the Virtual Controller Software (VCS) and the Command View
EVA software from V2.00X to V3.010 (see the upgrade instructions that
came with the VCS kit).
2. Uninstall the V2.0 kit (drivers, Secure Path, and SSSU). If you choose the
automatic option for installing the kit in step 3, it will remove the previous
installation for you.
3. Install the V3.0B kit (see “Installing the Host Kit” on page 21).
4. Install the supported version of Secure Path.
You may also need to upgrade the FCA firmware. Check the
platform-specific release notes for supported FCA versions.
5. Run spconfig.
6. Restart the server.
