Compatibility and installation requirements

Operating system and version compatibility
This release is specific for HP-UX 11i v3.
Hardware requirements
This version of the HP IB4X-00 driver for InfiniBand runs on HP Integrity servers with the HP-UX
11i v3 (11.31) operating system. For a complete list of supported servers, see the HP Fabric
Clustering System for InfiniBand Support Matrix at http:www.docs.hp.com in the I/O Cards and
Networking Software section, under Fabric Clustering System for InfiniBand.
RDS is only supported on AH304A and 448262-B21 InfiniBand cards. While the IB4X-00 driver
software does support PCI-X cards, the RDS driver only supports PCI-E cards. So you will need
to use PCI-e based systems if you wish to deploy RAC RDS.
