Table 2 HP-UX March 2012 (AR1203) Fixes Defect ID Description QXCR1001132985 Infiniband release B.11.31.1103 excludes PCI-X adapter from description. This issue has been fixed. QXCR1001136764 Netfmt command was giving core dumps in "nice" while printing of infiniband data. This issue was due to the misalignment in the code and it is fixed now. QXCR1001149978 IB HBA firmware update needed to prevent SDR/DDR negotiation problems . This has been fixed by updating the new card firmware.
Table 7 HP-UX September 2009 (WR0909) Fixes Defect ID Description QXCR1000940168 The DART81 BA929AA 11iv3 VSE OE software with InfiniBand adapter 448397-B21 failed to boot at the ESWL_IGNITEUX stage, due to timeout at iux_monitor_reboot. The driver code has been modified to resolve this issue. QXCR1000946862 The new ituil command option, x, has been provided to display the link speed of an InfiniBand interface.
NOTE: A complete DLKM infrastructure is required to enable the DLKM feature of the driver, which requires that you install the following three kernel patches: 1. PHKL_36387 2. PHKL_36332 3. PHCO_36371 • Use consistent OS and software versions in the fabric HP requires all systems in the fabric to use both the same HP-UX OS software version, and the same HP-UX Fabric Clustering System for InfiniBand software version, such as version B.11.31.1303.
In this scenario the driver can be successfully resumed by resetting the IPOIB module with the itutil command.
