Requirements

Software Requirements

• HP-UX 10.20 operating system for A-Class servers and B, C and

J-Class workstations

Hardware Requirements

• A-Class server running HP-UX 10.20

• B, C or J-Class workstation running HP-UX 10.20

NOTE: A3739B does not support workstationsprior to B1000, C3000,

J5000, etc. (e.g. B180L workstations are not supported)

• CD-ROM drive

• Fiber optic cable(s) terminated with SC connectors

Memory and Disk Space Requirements

• 16 MB memory

• 700 KB free disk space

Install/Upgrade With System UP or Down

• Install the FDDI LAN PCI adapter with the system down

• One reboot is required for installation and conﬁguration

Installing and Upgrading HP FDDI/9000 PCI

The HP FDDI PCI card is customer-installable and customer-

conﬁgurable on A-Class servers and B, C, and J-Class workstations.
