The following describes the 11.00.05 version of HP FDDI/9000 for

servers.

The FDDI driver can be installed on both 64-bit and 32-bit HP-UX 11.00

OS.

Known Problems and Workarounds for this version

There are no known problems with this version of HP FDDI/9000.

Software Requirements

• HP-UX 11.00 operating system

Hardware Requirements

• HP 9000 Series 800 Models with HP-PB Bus

This version of HP FDDI/9000 can only be installed on platforms that

have an HP-PB bus. The platforms are: HP 9000 Series 800 Models E,

G, H, I, K, and T.

• Install/update media hardware, such as:

— DDS tape drive

— CD-ROM drive
