HP FDDI/9000 Release Notes
HP-UX Version 11.00.05
Memory and Disk Space Requirements
• 16 MB memory
• 1 MB free disk space
Install/Upgrade With System Up or Down
• One reboot is required for installation and configuration.
• Super user mode is required.

and the HP FDDI/9000 Installation and Configuration card
(J2157-90044) contain complete instructions for installing this product.

Nuisance Message during installation of the product
Users may encounter a warning message in the swinstall.log file
when the J2157B bundle is selected for installation using ‘swinstall’.
This warning should be ignored.
The warning message on a 64-bit Operating System may look like this:
WARNING: The software specification “J2157B” refers to a bundle
(or to product, subproduct or fileset within a bundle).
Only some of the software specified could be selected.
The messages below show those items which could not
be selected and those items which were selected but
generated a warning:
* Could not apply the software selection
“FDDI-KRN-COM.FDDI467-KRN,r=B.11.00.02,a=HP-
UX_B.11.00_32/64,v=HP,fa=HP-UX_B.11.00_32”
because there are no product variations that are
compatible with the destination host(s).
* Could not apply the software selection
“FDDI-MASTER-COM.FDDI-MASTER,r=B.11.00.03,a
=HP-UX_B.11.00_32/64,v=HP,fa=HP-UX_B.11.00_32”
because there are no product variations that are
compatible with the destination host(s).
* Could not apply the software selection
