This document gives installation information for the HP Fabric Clustering System Host Channel
Adapter (HCA) for InfiniBand™, AB286C PCI-X 133Mhz adapter with 2 (two) 4X copper interfaces.
NOTE: The AB286C card is NOT supported on PA systems.
The AB286C product is for use in high-performance technical computing clusters.

HP Fabric Clustering System Installation Prerequisites
NOTE: The latest copy of this document can be found at http://www.docs.hp.com within the
Networking and Communications area.
Before installing the HP Fabric Clustering System, ensure that the following hardware and
software prerequisites are met:
• HP requires all systems in the fabric to use both the same HP-UX OS software version, and
the same HP-UX Fabric Clustering System for InfiniBand software version, such as version
B.11.31.05.
• HP requires all systems in the fabric to use the same bundle, IB4X-00.
• HP requires all switches in the fabric to use the same firmware image version such as:
