AB379B - PCI-X Dual Channel 4Gb/s Fibre Channel Adapter Performance Paper for Integrity Servers

Scalability
A series of tests were conducted to evaluate the throughput scalability of the AB379B on the HP Integrity
sx2000 Superdome server.
Chart 3: 256KB Sequential Throughput Scaling
Chart 3 shows throughput scaling of one to six AB379B adapters (1 to 12 ports) for read throughput and write
throughput tests. The X-axis is the number of ports. The Y-axis is the throughput performance in MB/s.
The chart shows excellent throughput performance at close to the 4Gb FC theoretical maximum, with linear
scaling through twelve ports, reaching an aggregate of over 4800 MB/s for reads or writes.
The AB379B on Integrity servers offers an excellent scalable SAN solution.
