What’s in This Release Note
This release note contains information pertaining to the B.11.11.12 version of the FibrChanl-00 (td) Fibre
Channel Mass Storage driver provided with HP-UX 11i v1. The td driver supports Fibre Channel products
such as:
• A6795A PCI Tachyon XL2 Adapter Card
• A6684A HSC-eff Tachlite Fibre Channel Adapter
• A6685A HSC Tachlite Fibre Channel Adapter
• A5158A PCI Tachlite Fibre Channel Adapter
Product Improvements
The td driver has been updated to support Sequence Level Error Recovery (SLER) based on FCP-2 standards.
The A6795A PCI Tachyon XL2 Adapter Card is now supported in a C8000 workstation.
Compatibility Information and Installation Requirements
Software Requirements
The following software (or later versions) must be installed before installing A5158A or A6795A HBAs into a
system:
• FibrChanl-00 (td) version B.11.11.12 for HP-UX 11i v1
• Fibre Channel Mass Storage (FCMS) Patch PHKL_23939 or later (only for HP-UX 11.00)
• Fibre Channel Mass Storage (FCMS) Patch PHKL_23626 or later (only for HP-UX 11i v1)
