To boot with the A5158A adapter, you must have the appropriate PDC (Processor Dependent

Code) ﬁrmware version on your system. For a list of bootable ﬁrmware versions for the

supported platforms, visit the ITRC Fibre Channel web site mentioned in the “What’s New in

this Version” section.

To determine the PDC ﬁrmware version on your system, do the following:

At the BCH prompt: Main Menu: Enter command or menu >

Enter the command, in fv.

The ﬁrmware version will display on the screen.

If you need to upgrade the PDC version on your system, contact your HP representative.
