version stamp (B.11.23.1003) without any change in the driver software.
What is New in This Version
This version of the HP PCI Tachyon TL/TS/XL2 Fibre Channel driver includes defect fixes and
does not offer any new features.
Installation Prerequisites
You must install the Fibre Channel Mass Storage (FCMassStorage) software before installing the
FibrChanl-00 HP PCI Tachyon TL/TS/XL2 Fibre Channel driver on the system.
The FCMassStorage driver is available for download at:

Installing the HP PCI Tachyon TL/TS/XL2 Fibre Channel Driver
To install the FibrChanl-00 HP PCI Tachyon TL/TS/XL2 Fibre Channel driver on an HP-UX 11i
v3 system, complete the following steps:
1. Log in to the HP-UX 11i v3 system as superuser.
2. Download the HP-UX 11i v3 depot in the /tmp directory on your system.
3. Verify whether the HP-UX 11i v3 depot is downloaded successfully.
To verify whether the HP-UX 11i v3 depot is downloaded successfully, enter the following
command at the HP-UX prompt:
# swlist -d @ /tmp/<11.31_depot>
The following information is displayed:FibrChanl-00 B.11.31.1003 FibreChannel;
HW=A6795A, A5158A
4. To install the HP Tachyon TL/TS/XL2 Fibre Channel driver on the HP-UX 11i v3 system,
enter the following command at the HP-UX prompt:
# swinstall -x autoreboot=true -s /tmp/<11.31_depot> FibrChanl-00
The following message is displayed:
Execution Phase Succeeded
Removing the HP PCI Tachyon TL/TS/XL2 Fibre Channel Driver
To remove the FibrChanl-00 HP PCI Tachyon TL/TS/XL2 Fibre Channel driver from an HP-UX
11i v3 system, enter the fo llowing command at the HP-UX prompt:
# swremove -x autoreboot=true FibrChanl-00
The following message is displayed:
