Parameters
bridging: Specifies the extended MAC mode.
normal: Specifies the normal mode.
standard-ipv6: Specifies the IPv6 standard mode.
routing: Specifies the extended routing mode.
mix-bridging-routing: Specifies the extended hybrid mode.
slot slot-number: Specifies the number of the slot where the LPU resides.
chassis chassis-number: Specifies the ID of the IRF member device. (In IRF mode.)
Usage guidelines
The LSU1TGS48SF LPU supports only the normal, standard-ipv6, and port-extender modes. It can
operate in one of the modes at a moment. For more information about the port-extender mode, see TRILL
Configuration Guide and TRILL Command Reference.
To make an operating mode change take effect, you must save the configuration and reboot the switch.
Examples
# In standalone mode, set the operating mode to standard-ipv6 for the SF card in slot 2.
