undo set-overload Defaults The Overload bit of an LSP is not set. Views TRILL view Predefined user roles network-admin mdc-admin Parameters timeout: Specifies the lifetime of the set Overload bit. The value range for this argument is 5 to 3600 seconds. By default, the lifetime of the set Overload bit is infinite, which means that the Overload bit continues being set until it is cleared. Usage guidelines Do not configure the command on the root bridge of a TRILL distribution tree.
Usage guidelines TRILL uses the IS-IS MIB to provide the TRILL object management function for NMS. Because the MIB objects defined in the IS-IS MIB are single-instance management objects, NMS cannot manage IS-IS and TRILL at the same time. According to the management for multiple OSPF instances defined in RFC 4750, you can set a context name for the SNMP object for managing TRILL. In this way, the SNMP requests for managing IS-IS and the SNMP requests for managing TRILL from NMS can be distinguished.

Use undo trill announcing-vlan to restore the default.
VLANs in the following set for sending Hello frames: enabled VLANs ∩ (designated VLAN ∪ (announcing VLANs ∩ forwarding VLANs)). The concepts and symbols used in this section are explained as follows: • Enabled VLAN—VLAN enabled on the port. • Forwarding VLAN—VLANs for which an RBridge port is appointed VLAN forwarder on the port. • ∩ and ∪—Set operation symbols. ∩ indicates set-theoretic intersection, and ∪ indicates set-theoretic union.
Usage guidelines The link cost of a TRILL port can be automatically calculated by the system or manually configured: • When a link cost is manually configured, the manually configured link cost takes effect whether or not automatic link cost calculation is enabled. • When a link cost is not manually configured and automatic link cost calculation is enabled, the automatically calculated link cost takes effect.
Configuration in Layer 2 Ethernet interface view takes effect on only the current port. Configuration in Layer 2 aggregate interface view takes effect on the current interface and its member ports. Configuration on the member port of an aggregate interface takes effect after the member port leaves the aggregation group. Examples # Configure VLAN 2 as a designated VLAN.
trill enable Use trill enable to enable TRILL on a port. Use undo trill enable to disable TRILL on a port. Syntax trill enable undo trill enable Default TRILL is disabled on a port. Views Layer 2 Ethernet interface view, Layer 2 aggregate interface view Predefined user roles network-admin mdc-admin Usage guidelines To enable TRILL on a port, first enable TRILL globally. Enable or disable TRILL on all ports in a VLAN, so that the ports in a VLAN have the same TRILL status (enabled or disabled).
trill link-type Use trill link-type to configure the link type of a TRILL port. Use undo trill link-type to restore the default. Syntax trill link-type { access [ alone ] | hybrid | trunk } undo trill link-type Default The link type of a TRILL port is access without the alone attribute. Views Layer 2 Ethernet interface view, Layer 2 aggregate interface view Predefined user roles network-admin mdc-admin Parameters access [ alone ] : Configures the link type as access.
undo trill timer avf-inhibited Default The inhibition time is 30 seconds. Views Layer 2 Ethernet interface view, Layer 2 aggregate interface view Predefined user roles network-admin mdc-admin Parameters time: Specifies the inhibition time in the range of 0 to 30 seconds. Usage guidelines An RB that acts as the AVF of a VLAN guarantees that frames from the VLAN have only one incoming port or one outgoing port along a link. When other RBs receive frames from the VLAN, they do not perform any processing.
mdc-admin Parameters interval: Specifies the CSNP interval in the range of 1 to 600 seconds. Usage guidelines On a broadcast network, the DRB advertises CSNPs at the CSNP interval to perform network-wide LSDB synchronization. A CSNP records all LSP digests of the local LSDB. When an RB receives a CSNP, the RB compares the CSNP against the local LSDB to verify whether some LSPs are aged out or missing.
any Hello frame from the RB before the adjacency holding time expires, it removes the TRILL adjacency with the RB. The product of the Hello interval and the Hello multiplier cannot exceed 65535. This command sets the Hello interval for the RB. The Hello interval of the DRB is 1/3 of the Hello interval of the RB, so that the DRB failures can be quickly detected. Configuration in Layer 2 Ethernet interface view takes effect on only the current port.
Configuration in Layer 2 Ethernet interface view takes effect on only the current port. Configuration in Layer 2 aggregate interface view takes effect on the current interface and its member ports. Configuration on the member port of an aggregate interface takes effect after the member port leaves the aggregation group. Examples # Set the number of invalid Hello frames to 6 on Ten-GigabitEthernet 1/0/1.
Examples # Set the minimum LSP interval to 500 milliseconds and the maximum number of LSPs transmitted per time to 10 on port Ten-GigabitEthernet 1/0/1.
