Usage guidelines
If you execute this command for an ISSU to an incompatible version, an error message appears.
After you execute this command, the automatic-rollback timer is removed and the system does not
perform automatic rollback for the ISSU process. However, you can use the issu rollback command to
manually roll back to the original software configuration.
This command is optional. You can execute the issu commit command to finish the ISSU process without
executing this command.

In standalone mode:
For a dual-MPU device, use issu commit to upgrade the original active MPU during an ISSU to a
compatible version.
For a single-MPU device, use issu commit to finish an ISSU to a compatible version.
In IRF mode:
For a dual-MPU single-chassis IRF fabric, use issu commit to upgrade the original global active MPU
during an ISSU to a compatible version.
For a single-MPU single-chassis IRF fabric, use issu commit to finish an ISSU to a compatible
version.
For a multichassis IRF fabric, use issu commit to upgrade ungraded subordinate members
(including the original master) during an ISSU to a compatible version.
Syntax
In standalone mode:
issu commit slot slot-number
In IRF mode (single-chassis):
issu commit chassis chassis-number slot slot-number
In IRF mode (multichassis):
issu commit chassis chassis-number
