Configuring SNMP Support
Note – SNMP support is enabled by default.

4. Apply and save configuration if you are not configuring the switch with Telnet support.
Otherwise apply and save after the performing the “Optional Setup for Telnet Support” steps.
Setting Passwords
It is recommended that you change the user and administrator passwords after initial configuration
and as regularly as required under your network security policies.
To change the user, operator, or administrator password, you must log in using the administrator
password. Passwords cannot be modified from the user or operator command mode.
Note – If you forget your administrator password, call your technical support representative for
help using the password fix-up mode.
>> # /cfg/sys/access/snmp disable|read only|read/write
>> # /cfg/sys/ssnmp/rcomm|wcomm
