Figure 1-5 shows AD278A PCI MUX 8-port adapter fan-out cable.

The RJ-45 to DB-25 adapter cables can be built and used to connect the fan out cable ports to various
peripheral devices.
Power Supply for Port Modules
The first and second port modules connected to a AD279A PCI MUX 64-port adapter do not require power
supply. However, the third and fourth port modules require seperate power supply. The power supply requires
110-220 V and 50-60 W AC input.
Figure 1-6 shows the external power supply (AD280-2001A) for the port modules.
