Step 13. Ensure that every configured primary ELAN interface has a
corresponding secondary ELAN interface. Each primary ELAN interface
must have a valid IP address, and each secondary ELAN interface IP
address must be listed as “none”.
CAUTION While the hatmmon daemon is running, do not use SAM or any of the
ATM configuration commands to change the configuration for an ATM
adapter that has any ELAN interfaces being monitored by EMS
HA-ATM. See “Modifying ATM Parameters when Using EMS HA-ATM”
on page 136.
