ATM Configuration and Troubleshooting Guide
Getting Status Information with ATM Commands
Command Examples
Chapter 7158
The above output example shows the destination MAC address-to-ATM
address mappings for the Primary LEC and, if configured, the Secondary
LEC. It also shows the VPI/VCI numbers of the Data Direct VC that is
open between both LECs.
Getting MPC Status and Statistics
To display configuration and status information for the MPC tied to the
LECs for a specific ATM network interface, use this command:
mpcstat -n
net_interface
-c
So, for example, if you want to see the configuration and status
information for the MPC that is tied to the network interface el100, you
would issue this command:
mpcstat -n el100 -c
The output could look like this:
Primary MPOA Client configuration and status information:
MPC Index : 0x02
Card Instance : 2
LEC Interfaces under MPC : el100
Control ATM Address : 47000580ffe1000000f21a1e28.080009c6fc0a.07
Data ATM Address : 47000580ffe1000000f21a1e28.080009c6fc0a.07
Actual State : up
Actual Config Mode : 1 (automatic)
Discontinuity Time : 10:09 AM
Actual SC Setup Frame Count (MPC-p1) : 10
Actual SC Setup Frame Time (MPC-p2) : 1 sec
Actual Initial Retry Time (MPC-p4) : 5 sec
Actual Maximum Retry Time (MPC-p5) : 40 sec
Actual Hold Down Time (MPC-p6) : 160 sec
To display statistics for the MPC tied to the LECs for a specific ATM
network interface, use this command:
mpcstat -n
net_interface
-s
So, to display the statistics for the same MPC as above, you would issue
this command:
