E Run atminit. Use the command atminit card_instance_number to
create the ILMI PVC. Applications using PVCs are disrupted when you
use this command. Check the log file for information. If possible, correct
the problem.
F Check switch configuration. Ensure that the ILMI PVC exists and
that ILMI is running on the port of the switch connected to the local
system.
G Check log file for ILMI information. If the switch is faulty,
troubleshoot it. If the local ATM adapter is faulty, try to correct the
problem using the log file information.
