B Check that the secondary LEC configuration status is “Operational” and
the state is “Current”.
This means that the secondary LAN Emulation Services have
successfully taken over from the failed primary services.
If the secondary LEC configuration status is “Not operational”,
troubleshoot it in the same way as the primary LEC configuration.
C Check that both source and destination systems have joined the same
secondary LES/BUS ATM address.
The secondary LES/BUS ATM address indicates the secondary ELAN
and must be the same on both end systems. Otherwise, they will switch
over to different ELANs if the primary services fail.
Check that any Access Control rules configured in the secondary LECS
configuration file do not prevent the source and destination systems from
joining the ELAN. See “Checking ELAN Access Control Rules Definitions
on LECS” on page 244 for details.
D If you have configured a secondary LECS, check that the secondary
LECS ATM address is displayed correctly and is different from the
primary LECS ATM address.
If you have configured a secondary LECS and the secondary LECS ATM
address is the same as the primary LECS ATM address, then run SAM
and reconfigure it.
