Configuring Multiple ATM Adapters
You can use multiple ATM adapters in a system, with the following
restrictions:
The maximum number of ATM adapters supported in any given
system, as indicated in the HP ATM Release Notes provided with the
ATM software, must not be exceeded.
Duplicate IP addresses or ATM addresses must not be used in an
LIS.
You can configure the Classical IP interfaces in a system as ATM
ARP Servers and ATM ARP Clients as long as they do not belong to
the same subnet.
The example in Figure 3-4 below shows how multiple adapters can be
used in different configurations.
