Configuring Multiple ATM Adapters
You can use multiple ATM adapters in a system, with the following
restrictions:
• The maximum number of ATM adapters supported in any given
system, as indicated in the HP ATM Release Notes provided with the
ATM software, must not be exceeded.
• Duplicate IP addresses or ATM addresses must not be used in an
LIS.
• You can configure the Classical IP interfaces in a system as ATM
ARP Servers and ATM ARP Clients as long as they do not belong to
the same subnet.
The example in Figure 3-4 below shows how multiple adapters can be
used in different configurations.
