To use MPOA, all of the components that are to be within the MPOA
system—routers, edge devices, and MPOA hosts—must have MPOA
enabled on them. For MPCs, this is done through the SAM configuration
(see the appropriate steps in “For Ethernet and Token Ring Networks”
on page 53). For all other MPOA components, see the vendor’s
documentation for configuration steps.
