The fastcook option is enabled by default. This is resolved in the current
release. The fastcook option is removed from the HP-UX system and is not
supported by the pmux_stty utility and the pci_mux driver.

Interoperability information and installation requirements
This section provides information on interoperability, software, and hardware requirements for
installing the current version of the AD278A/AD279A PCI MUX product on HP-UX 11i v2 and
HP-UX 11i v3.
Interoperability information
The non-RoHS (A6748A/A6749A) adapters and RoHS (AD278A/AD279A) PCI MUX adapters
can coexist on a system. The RoHS adapters cannot be connected to non-RoHS cables, connectors,
or port modules. The RoHS cables, connectors, or port modules cannot be connected to non-RoHS
adapters.

Hardware requirements

Software requirements
The AD278A/AD279A PCI MUX serial adapters are supported on HP-UX 11i v1 (B.11.11), HP-UX
11i v2 (B.11.23), and HP-UX 11i v3 (B.11.31) operating systems.
Disk space requirement
The disk space required is 1.5 MB.
