Known Problems
pmux_diag/pmux_stty loop back test may not respond, if a terminal is connected to a
pci_mux1 port and pmux_diag/pmux_stty loop back test is run from that terminal on the
same pci_mux1 port.
Workaround
HP recommends customers NOT to run pmux_diag/pmux_stty loop back tests on a pci_mux1
port if the pmux_diag/pmux_stty itself is running on a terminal that uses the same pci_mux1
port.

• HP System Management Homepage (HP SMH) supports printer configuration on HP-UX
11i v3 systems.
NOTE: System Administration Manager (SAM) is deprecated in HP-UX 11i v3. HP System
Management Homepage (HP SMH) is the system administration tool for managing HP-UX 11i.
SMH provides web-based systems management functionality, at-a-glance monitoring of system
component health, and consolidated log viewing. SMH also provides Terminal User Interfaces
(TUIs).
