call fails with an EIO error under certain conditions.

Interoperability Information and Installation Requirements
This section provides interoperability, software, and hardware requirements information for
installing the current version of the AD278A/AD279A PCI MUX product on HP-UX 11i v1 and
HP-UX 11i v2.
Interoperability Information
The non-RoHS (A6748A/A6749A) adapters and RoHS (AD278A/AD279A) PCI MUX adapters
can coexist on a system. The RoHS adapters cannot be connected to non-RoHS cables, connectors,
or port modules. The RoHS cables, connectors, or port modules cannot be connected to non-RoHS
adapters.
