HP AD278A PCI MUX 8-Port Adapter Installation Prerequisites

Cables must be grounded at both the ends
Cables must be routed away from noise sources such as generators, motors and flourescent lights.
Cable Connections: AD278A PCI MUX 8-port adapter product comprises of Fan-out/Octopus cable. The
Fan-out/Octopus cable ends with DB-25 Male pin connector. If you need to connect a device which has male
DB-25 connector to the Fan-out cable, use F-F gender changer. Ensure that you have cables of correct length
and appropriate connectors to attach the devices properly.
