HP AD278A PCI MUX 8-Port Adapter Installation Prerequisites

Chapter 1

follow the guidelines given below:

• Cables must be shielded

• Cables must have low capacitance

• Cables must be designed specifically for serial data transmission

• Cables must be grounded at both the ends

Cables must be routed away from noise sources such as generators, motors and flourescent lights.

Cable Connections: AD278A PCI MUX 8-port adapter product comprises of Fan-out/Octopus cable. Ensure

that you have cables of correct length and appropriate connectors to attach the devices properly.
