The AD278A PCI MUX 8-port adapter is supported on HP-UX 11i v1 and HP-UX 11i v2 operating systems. To

ﬁnd out the version of the operating system installed on your system, run the following command at the

command prompt:

$ uname -r

If HP-UX 11i v1 is installed on your system, the following output is displayed:

B.11.11

If HP-UX 11i v2 is installed on your system, the following output is displayed:

B.11.23

Patch Requirement

The AD278A/AD279A PCI MUX 8-port adapter driver requires patch PHCO_34779 to be installed on HP-UX

11i v1. This patch is available for download at:
