Before you install the ATM adapter

Check that you have received the following items

• the ATM Adapter

• ATM software on CD-ROM

• the Codeword to Install Software Certificate to unlock the J2806CA product

• ATM/622 & ATM/155 Adapters Conﬁguration and Troubleshooting Guide

• the appropriate Release Notes for your product

Check that your configuration is supported

Consult the Release Notes you received with the ATM software for a list of the

HP 9000 systems supported, together with information about the maximum number

of ATM adapters you can install.

Check the computer requirements

See the release note for details of computer requirements.

HP 9000 T-Class Corporate Business Servers, Model T600 only

Note Only qualified Hewlett-Packard personnel can install ATM adapters in the HP 9000

T-Class Corporate Business Server, Model T600.

• Ensure that you have the following manual which you received with your

HP 9000 T-Class Corporate Business Server Model T600: HP 3000 Corporate

Business Systems and HP 9000 Corporate Business Servers Installation Guide,

HP Part No. A1809-90001.

• Ensure that you have enough HSC I/O Expansion Modules to accommodate the

number of ATM adapters you need to install (see page 19).
